Two of Brazil's most celebrated and influential architects and design masters

Both Oscar Niemeyer and Jorge Zalszupin have played a critical role in shaping Brazil's modernist identity and often had intersecting practices. They collaborated on Brasília, the country’s federal capital and one of the world’s most ambitious architecture projects. Oscar designed the elegant and astonishing buildings that made up the city and Jorge created furniture pieces that outfitted several of the official structures.
